Four years ago, Bjorn Low traded in a career in advertising to co-found urban farming consultancy Edible Garden City. His goal: to turn unused commercial rooftops into gardening spaces for hotels and restaurants, and fashion lush streetscapes that are as beautiful as they are delicious.

Bjorn is integrating farming into cityscapes, helping Singaporeans reconsider the potential of their limited—yet promising—land. Through his organization, Edible Garden City, Bjorn uses farming as a tool to help communities produce their own food, lessen dependency on other systems, and experience the direct benefits from gardening.
